We drove into Thunder Bay around dinner time and ended up staying for a few hours. We bought some pizza to bring back to the van and hung out in the busy parking lot while we ate. (And where Mike spilled juice all over the bed!) Afterwards, we took a drive around the historical town and spotted a walk way along the lake. We quickly found a parking spot and started our walk along the waterfront. The bay was still frozen but beyond the rock wall was not and even had a large boat floating along. There was also quite a few seagulls which would seemingly walk on the water way out in the bay. Here are a few photos from the bay...
We spent last night at a Tim Hortons in a small town just over an hour out of Thunder Bay. There were lots of truckers and gas stations there. Next, we are off to Wawa, the place where Winnie the Pooh called home then on to Sault Ste Marie where we will be spending the night.
